Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly when registering and using Booqara, including your business name, email address, phone number, and account credentials. We also collect information about staff accounts, such as staff names, roles, and work-related contact details.

When your customers book appointments through your Booqara experience, we process appointment-related information such as customer name, phone number, email address, appointment time, service selected, and assigned staff member. We also collect usage information, such as page views and feature interactions, to improve performance and usability.

We use information to deliver the Booqara service, create and manage business accounts, process appointments, send transactional messages such as confirmations and reminders, and provide customer support.

We also use data to improve features, monitor reliability, detect misuse, secure the platform, and understand how businesses interact with the product so we can make better product decisions.

Booqara does not directly collect or store full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Stripe or another authorized payments partner under their own policies and security controls.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not use Booqara customer data to power advertising targeting on or off our platform.

Booqara stores data on infrastructure located in the United States, including AWS-hosted systems and service providers that support core product operations. We use industry-standard safeguards intended to protect data in transit and at rest.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we continuously work to maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for the nature of the information we process.

Booqara sends transactional emails necessary to operate your service, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, password resets, billing notices, and operational alerts.

We do not send marketing emails to your customers unless you explicitly take action to do so through your own business workflows and applicable consent requirements.

Active account data is retained while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days so you have time to export anything you need. After 90 days all data is permanently deleted from our systems. You will receive an email reminder before deletion. Export is available on request at any time by emailing talk@booqara.com.

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your business data at any time, subject to legal or contractual exceptions. Export requests are generally provided in a practical business format such as CSV where available.

To make a privacy request, contact talk@booqara.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling certain requests.

Booqara uses necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember session state, and maintain secure access to your account. We may also use analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand site usage and improve the experience.

Where required, analytics cookies can be declined or managed through your browser settings or other consent controls made available on the site.

We rely on selected third-party providers to help operate Booqara, including AWS for hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and Google Analytics for usage analytics. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own contractual and privacy obligations.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those providers if you want more detail on how they handle information in their own systems.
